  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 green onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 3 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil until well-coated.
  2. Heat a wok or large pan over medium-high heat; add chicken and cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced bell peppers for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return chicken to the pan; add all sauce ingredients and stir until everything is evenly coated and glossy.
  5. Serve over warm rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
