Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 23 bananas, sliced
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9-inch pie pan and bake for 8–10 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well. Gently fold in the whipped cream until light and fluffy before spreading over the cooled crust.
  3. Layer banana slices evenly on top of the peanut butter filling.
  4. For the ganache, heat the two tablespoons of cream until warm (not boiling) and pour over chopped chocolate in a bowl. Stir until smooth; let cool slightly before drizzling over the pie.
  5. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
